As the outcome of an investigation carried out by means of questionaires circulated in schools, the authors of this study compare the leisure habits (what social groups go where) of the inhabitants of the three main urban centres in the Northern Alps (Grenoble, Annecy, Chambéry). The study is essentially focused on the nearby leisure areas where people go for week-end outings.
