This is another of the large species heavily marked with piceous with a spot of infuscation on the end apex of anal cell 2 in the hind wing. It can be quickly distinguished from C. cristalinea, C. maculosa and C. pilifera by the bronzed fore wings and the spots of infuscation on the fore wing radial crossvein and proximal radius posterior 2 vein, and in the distal radial cell of the hind wing. Only C. centralis also has the spot of infuscation but can be distinguished by the infuscation along the ambient vein and spots in the distal apical cells 2–5 found in C. centralis. DISTRIBUTION.
