The present work explored the physical interaction patterns of families with aggressive boys. Three groups of families were selected using teachers' evaluations of boys' aggression. The first group, « stable aggressives » (N = 10), comprised families with aggressive boys rated aggressive at age 6 and at age 11 ; the second group, « not stable aggressives » (N = 10), included families with boys aggressive only when 6 years old ; and the third, « not aggressives » (N = 10), was formed by families with non-aggressive boys. Physical interactions between mother and child and between father and child, during the execution of difficult and easy tasks on a computer, were coded with a physical contact scale.
