ABSTRACT : This paper shows the connection between Peircian logic and semiotics. Logical validity is grounded in setniotical structure of arguments, and yielded by means of diagrams of this structure. Iconizing logical thought, diagrams display why logical arguments are valid. The Peircian conception of logical validity is based upon a semiotic account of cognition.RÉSUMÉ : Cet article montre le lien qui existe chez Peirce entre la logique et la sémiotique.
