The author has studied 563 indisputable flint tools from the site of Les Hautes Chanvières (Mairy, Ardennes, France). The lithic industry belongs to a blade tradition, undoubtedly Michelsberg, and thus very different from the industry of the Chasséen of northern France ; but, for all that, it cannot be totally identified with the lithic industry of the Michelsberg sites of neighbouring Belgium or Germany.L'étude préliminaire de 563 outils de silex du site des Hautes Chanvières (Mairy, Ardennes) permet de donner un aperçu caractéristique d'une industrie à dominance laminaire, qui donc se distingue très nettement de celle du Chasséen septentrional, mais, quoique inscrite dans la tradition Michelsberg, se différencie de celle des sites voisins...
