Grandes tendances de l'historiographie japonaise depuis Meiji

Abstract The subject of this article is to follow the evolution of historiography in Japan since one century, centering on the economic history of modern and contemporary times. This is divided into four phases: the first is from the end of 19th century to the 1930s when this discipline was institutionalized, the second is from the 1930s to the 1950s when economic history was very influential even in society; the third is 1960s and 1970s when its national character in the previous phase disappeared and since those days in the end strengthened a convergence at international tendency, with multiplication of themes and methodologies.Résumé Cet article est consacré à l'évolution des tendances dans l'historiographie au Japon depuis un siècle, en se concentrant sur l'histoire économique de l'époque moderne et contemporaine. Cette évolution s'articule en quatre phases: la première va de la fin du XIXe siècle aux années 1930 où cette discipline était institutionalisée, la deuxième va de la fin des années 1930 à la fin des années 1950 où l'histoire économique était très influente même dans la société, la troisième correspond aux années 1960-1970 où sa spécificité nationale, nette dans la phase précédente, a disparu et dès lors enfin s'est renforcée une convergence avec les tendances internationales, accompagnée d'une multiplication de thèmes et des méthodologies.Hirota Isao.
