The oppidum of La Pierre d'Appel is a barred spur of 61.75 acres which has been excavated between 1967 and 1981 by a pluridisciplinarian team. The stratigraphy has revealed three levels of major habitat (III, II, I) which are spread over La Tène moyenne (phasis C2) and La Tène finale (phasis D1-D2). In this study, the authors endeavour to give an elementary statistical picturing of 605 restored potteries mainly showing the making technics, the shapes (7 groups) and the ornamentation (6 types).
