The notion of interaction is both used in French foreign language didactics and in French mother tongue didactics. Based on a comparative didactics perspective, we analysed this notion in the scope of some recent research. Three questions guided our analysis: 1 . What definition of interaction is adopted by different researchers? 2. How do they conceive the dimension of acquisition or of teaching/learning? How do they identify the taught contents? 3. How do they theorise their data collection method? Our exploration shows that the bounds between both didactics are established by the acquisition's model on the one hand, and the teaching/learning's model on the other, as well as by the different conceptualisations of the taught object.La ...
