How can multifaceted parents'voices be heard by schools ? Each parent has special demands concerning his child and trying to represent them globally would be misleading, basic demands being tighly linked with individual situations. So it is dificult to translate parents movement into a collective cause, corresponding to the identification and interpretation of their expectations. From criteria such as concerns, attitude towards school, nature of school discourse, temporality, we can construct a parents'typology : cooperative parents, oppositionsts, absent parents, to avoid this negative categorizing, schools may focus on reducing constraints exerted over parents public discourse without suppressing those which are related to necessary debat...
