This article examines the didactic techniques implemented by teachers in three institutions transmitting knowledge of sports and artistic activities: school teaching, sports training, and choreographic transmission. Comparative analysis brings out the generic nature of how transmission takes place, transcending the specificity of the contexts and forming a "core" of experience and competence proper to the teachers.
