This final thesis deals with compulsory documents in nursery school, their list, and sources to draw from when creating them. In the theoretical part, I focus on the sources, which are legal provisions, their enumeration, from which the mandatory documents are based, the labeling and storage of documents, and the most common mistakes during their creation. The practical part is based on creating internal school rules for a nursery school so that it meets the conditions in the nursery school where I am the principal. The aim of the thesis is to list the rules, directives, and internal regulations that the statutory authority must issue. These regulations are divided into several areas according to their scope. These areas concern the establishment and foundation of a school, the area of education and ensuring the operation of the school, the area of organizing the activities of a legal entity, the area of labor law, the area of providing information, and the area of control
