Design of a photovoltaic power plant on an industrial building to reduce energy consumption

The master thesis addressed the issue of reducing energy demand. The aim was to design a photovoltaic power plant for an industrial building, which will reduce this energy consumption. During the work, several simulations of different proposed photovoltaic systems were created and compared with each other, and the most suitable design was selected based on the input aspects. The theoretical background of the thesis has been used, which is described in the first two chapters. The thesis is supplemented by the calculation of the energy performance of the building, the project documentation of the chosen design and the analysis of the possibilities of how the surplus energy produced by the photovoltaic power plant can be utilised.
