This thesis deals with the processing and analysis of acoustic emission signals for solid particle granulometry. Acoustic emission is one of many methods for particle size measurment, which is an important part of production in many industries. Various parameters can be monitored and analysed for acoustic emission signals. This paper processes and analyzes a large dataset of measured acoustic emissions and then evaluates which parameters from the acoustic emission signal are appropriate to use for particle size determination
