Přírodovědné exkurze v okolí Vodňan

This thesis deals with the topic of natural science excursions and is focused on excursions around the town of Vodňany in South Bohemian region. The theoretical part deals with the general issue of excursions. An excursion as a concept and its meaning in terms of the organizational form of teaching is presented here. This thesis defines general objectives of the excursions, their division and individual phases of the excursion. Furthermore, the individual phases of the excursion and didactic principles during the excursion are presented. This thesis emphasizes the importance of the worksheets during the field trip and points out frequent mistakes in the realization of the excursion and the pros and cons of natural science excursions. In a short passage at the end of this part of the work, it introduces an overview of the history, natural monuments and education associated with the pond farming tradition in Vodňany. The practical part describes the implementation of a natural science excursion. The first section presents the possibilities of realizing natural sciences excursions in the surroundings of Vodňany in the form of museums visits, natural science trails and educational programs. The second section is dedicated to the detailed realization of a oneday excursion to Vodňany consisting of the museum visit of the Secondary School of Fishery and Higher Professional School of Water Management and Ecology in Vodňany in combination with the "Water is Science" educational trail. The worksheet with illustrative tasks created by the author of the thesis is also included
