Simulace vlivu potenciálně vybudované vodní nádrže na odtok vody z vybraného povodí

This thesis consists of a literature review and a practical part focused on water retention - one of the crucial functions of water reservoirs. The aim of the thesis is to use the hydrological model HEC-HMS to simulate the impact of the water reservoir on the water runoff from the catchment area in the selected watershed and demonstrate how water reservoirs are able to affect the hydrograph during rainfall runoff events. In the included literature review, water reservoirs and their classifications are defined. Subsequently, precipitation and runoff, as well as the rainfall-runoff events, are explained. At the end of the literature review, various hydrological models are presented, with a closer description of the HEC-HMS hydrological model. The practical part consists of a description of the catchment area and the constructed water reservoir. This is followed by an analysis of the used method, including the necessary calculations for hydrological modelling. Finally, obtained results are presented and evaluated
