In my work, I gather and process the memories and feelings I collect at and after rave parties. I perceive these parties as a kind of Temporary Autonomous Zone, enabling the expression and overcoming of painful and joyful, collective and at the same time individual feelings. Through the experienced situations, rave parties seep into my everyday life and aesthetically influence my perception of the post-subcultural world. For me, perceptions from dance events are more than just carriers or indicators of subculture. They are essential, formative experiences for me, which I mediate and use to create objects that help me communicate and reflect on my perceptions.
