Nomophobia in nurses Abstract Introduction: this bachelor thesis focuses on the prevalence of nomophobia in nurses. The theoretical part deals with addiction, anxiety, description of nomophobia and the occurrence of nomophobia in healthcare. Nomophobia in nurses is a very serious problem, as due to the frequent use of mobile devices, negative consequences such as postponing important tasks, hoarding tasks or distraction occur. Aim: The aim of this study was to map the prevalence of nomophobia in nurses working in intensive care units and standard wards and also to map the effect of nurses' education on the prevalence of nomophobia.
