Debt trap as a couse of homelessness

The thesis deals with the correlation between debt trap and homelessness. This is a theoretical work. The first part of the thesis informs about basic financial terms and concepts and financial literacy of the Czech Republic population. The second part describes the phenomenon of homelessness. The forms of homelessness, causes and consequences of homelessness and also pathological aspects associated with homelessness are listed and described here. The last part od the thesis offers solutions to both indebtedness and homelessness. Organizations helping homeless people are described in detail, the most important of which is the non-profit organization the Salvation Army. The thesis also provides information about the Merciful Summer event and presents forms of debt management and new legislation in favor of indebted individuals
