A collaborative partnership between a school social worker and a family

The bachelor thesis examines the theme of a school social worker and the possible scope of his collaboration with pupils and their families. I approach the relevant models of school social work derived from ecological perspective and focused not only on the development of a school but also on the linkage as regards the cooperation between the given school, community and family. I explore the way this collaboration is beneficial when solving problems and difficulties of pupils which they encounter at school and in terms of their motivation to study. The bachelor thesis also identifies possible strategies how a school social worker can effectively use methods and approaches related to a specific family-oriented social work when working with pupils and their families
