In recent years, the advent of new types of analysis other than the study of decorated pottery has provided a new vision of the Bell Beaker culture. The site of Aile, Noir Bois (Jura, Switzerland) has yielded a lithic industry which gave rise to a study of the origins of the raw materials as well as typological analysis. The raw materials are mainly regional but some also come from the south of Alsace and the Black Forest. This paper studies the technological aspect of that industry. There was specific exploitation of some types of flint for certain types of tool and opportunistic knapping of flakes subordinated to the nodules' morphology.
