This case report concerns a 29-year-old patient presenting with an erythematous papula on his ankle after recent travels to Colombia. After applying fucidin ointment, prescribed by his general practitioner, a larva wound its way to the surface. We morphologically identified the parasite as the larva of Dermatobia hominis (human botfly).</p
