PENYELESAIAN PROBLEMATIKA MENGENAI PEMENUHAN HAK DAN KEWAJIBAN KELUARGA PEKERJA MIGRAN DI DESA TANEN, KECAMATAN REJOTANGAN, KABUPATEN TULUNGAGUNG

The reality of working as a migrant workers can be said to be a promising and lucrative job as evidenced by the fact that the number of workers each year tends to increase, but behind the high income earned many things must be sacrificed both in material and non-material rights so that they are vulnerable to problems arising in the family. Even though they are prone to problems occurring in the household caused by long-distance relationships for quite a long time, the fact is that several families in Tanen Village can survive and overcome the problems that occur so that their families remain lasting and of good quality. The main problem in this thesis is how to solve the problems that occur in migrant workers families in Tanen Village, Rejotangan District, Tulungagung Regency, and how to fulfill the rights and obligations of each individual. This type of research is field research which is descriptive-analytical and is structured using a sociology-legal approach using conflict management style theory by Kenneth W. Thomas and Ralph H. Kilmann and interaction adaptation theory by Judee Burgoon. The object of this research is the family of migrant workers who have managed to maintain the integrity of their family. The harmony and integrity of the household of the migrant workers family in Tanen Village are maintained because they apply several styles of conflict management in the process of resolving problems that occur in the household and try to fulfill the rights and obligations of each individual in the family as best they can despite the distance and busyness of each. Some of the conflict management styles practiced by migrant workers families in Tanen Village include collaboration, compromise, avoidance, and accommodation and they avoid using a competitive style because it is felt that this can trigger bigger disputes. Apart from that, they also adapt to their environment and social life to be able to survive while changing situations and conditions due to the departure of a family member. This is done as a form of effort to prevent serious disputes from occurring. As for fulfilling material rights and obligations and caring for children, husbands, and wives work together to share roles by taking on the role of partners either partially or fully. As for the fulfillment of immaterial rights and obligations, good communication is highly relied upon by the migrant workers family partners. Apart from that, upholding commitment, mutual trust, and loyalty is the key that must be believed by each partner to be able to maintain harmony in their household
