PENGARUH SELF CONCEPT DAN SELF CONTROL TERHADAP KEPERCAYAAN DIRI MAHASISWA BARU PASCASARJANA KONSENTRASI BKI 2022/2023 UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA

The problem studied in this study is whether there is an effect of self-concept and self-control on self-confidence in new students. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of self-concept and self-control on self-confidence in new students. The research method used in this research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. There are two variables in this study, namely the independent variable and the dependent variable, which act as independent variables, namely self-concept (XI) and self-control (X2), while the dependent variable is self-confidence (Y). The sample in this study were new students of the BKI 2022/2023 Postgraduate Concentration, the sampling technique used was a saturated sample with a total sample of 35 people. With data collection techniques used in the form of a questionnaire. From the results of the research that has been done, it can be seen that: (1). The results of the regression coefficient on the self-concept obtained a result of 0.507 or 50.7%, which means that there is a positive influence given by the self-concept on self-confidence. (2). The results of the regression coefficient on self control obtained a result of 0.244 or 24.4%, which means that there is a positive influence exerted by self control on self-confidence. (3). And there is a positive and significant influence between self-concept and self-control on self-confidence in new students, this is evidenced by the results of the R Square determination test of 0.484 or 48.4%
