This study aimed to address the perceived high levels of stress among healthcare workers in public health facilities in Kwara State, Nigeria, and the impact this has on their performance. The study sought to evaluate the relationship between role congruence and organizational culture. The study was conducted on 2,139 healthcare workers from 46 hospitals managed by the Kwara State Hospital Management Board in Nigeria. A multistage sampling technique was used to select participants, and a sample size of 326 was calculated.
