By creating an understanding of reuse, waste within the construction sector can be reduced. The purpose of this report is therefore to identify the obstacles and opportunities of reuse based on a case study regarding the recycling of specifically requested building materials by a company. The case study is based on an investigation of whether it is possible to reuse windows and interior doors from an approximately 100-year-old hospital for a state-of-the-art research center in Skellefteå. The report will also cover key performance indicators related to the case study.
