Fregoli syndrome is a rare psychological disorder in which the affected person develops a mistaken belief that different people in their environment are the same person in disguise or constantly changing appearance. Regarding pharmacological treatment, there is currently no specific and standardized approach, however, a combination of drugs has been used to address the underlying symptoms, among these, atypical antipsychotics, such as risperidone and olanzapine, have succeeded, with some successfully, reduce the intensity of delusions and psychotic episodes associated with Fregoli syndrome.
