Objective To assess the medication and disease burden of young adults with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). Methods Young adults with JIA prospectively followed in the Juvenile Arthritis Methotrexate/Biologics long-term Observation reported on their health status and medication use. All medications taken (disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs)/prescription/over-the-counter drugs, but excluding most local therapies) classified according to the Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical Classification System were included in this analysis.
