How can we extract human face data from complex environment? It has always been an essential question for computer engineers. People invented various methods to solve this question. In this project, some of them are introduced to help you have better understanding about face detection. The main challenge is at the wide variety of faces and the complexity of noise that generated by backgrounds. Certain algorithm is needed to differentiate face patterns and non-face patterns. In this project, I decided to run OpenCV which is the most mainstream image processing library on Visual Studio to ensure the processing speed and stability of the program.Bachelor of Engineerin
