The microstrip antenna offers the advantages of low profile, lightweight, low cost, flexibility in design and conformability to a shaped surface and compatibility with integrated circuits. The major drawback of the microstrip antenna is the narrow bandwidth. It is a major obstacle that restricts its widespread use. This report starts off with an introduction on the background and the objectives of this FYP. Next, the initial preparation made will be on the simulation of the “Novel Broadband Microstrip-FED Wide Slot antenna with Double Rejection Zeros”.
