Due to depletion of crude oil, a lot of research have been done on renewable energy such as hydro, solar and wind power. Solar Energy produced the highest renewable energy conversion efficiency in Singapore. Second generation solar cell has the advantages of achieving low thickness and high flexibility which ignite the interest on this research project. The objective of this project is to study the effects of interface on the Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) Thin Film solar cell device performance. Acetate-based and chloride-based CZTS were used in this research.
