In this project, we are tasked to create a 3-dimentional (3D) virtual model using digital camera and commercial photomodelling software. The ultimate purpose of this project is to accurately create a 3D virtual model of either natural or man-made structures. The target that we have chosen to do is the Transport and Spatial information Laboratory within NTU. Another task of our project also includes comparing the accuracy of the virtual model and the real physical dimension itself. The 3D model of the exterior of the laboratory will be covered by the author while his fellow project mate will be responsible for the interior section.
