Advancements in the field of electrical and electronic aircraft technologies have introduced a concept of a ‘More Electric Aircraft’. This concept essentially replaces non-electrical systems on an aircraft such as Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems with electrical systems. This will create an environment with a high density of electrical loads which will require constant monitoring for electrical fault signals and rapid isolation.
