With the world becoming more and more digitalized, there is a need for the expansion of data centers. In a small country like Singapore, space is a scarce resource and therefore underground space is being explored for the possibility of housing a data center. With the limit space and oxygen in underground, effective ways to suppress fire and remove the smoke are extremely important. Hence, the project aims for find a suitable fire suppression system and smoke control system for the underground data center that fulfills the tenability limits set by SCDF.
