Part A of the report touches on the general aspects of finite element modeling and analysis, and experimental comparison and verification of important structural elements such as concrete-filled composite columns. Part B of the report details the development of a damage model of 3-D interface element which can be incorporated into an existing finite element code to model the interface bond behavior between the concrete and steel surfaces which exists in all concrete-steel composite elements.RP 11/9
