Glycosylation is an important post-translational modification as it has multiple biological functions like cell-cell communications and cell-matrix interactions. Upon Src stimulation, polypeptide N-acetylgalactosaminyl transferases (GalNAcTs) are specifically redistributed from golgi to endoplasmic reticulum (ER).
