The results of this study are generally robust when the author analyses the full sample for a longer study period of 11 years, the specific sample of firms with comprehensive data for the full 7 years, and the smaller sample of firms in which the government held more than 80% shareholding prior to privatisation. This study also partitions the full sample into various sub-samples. Again, the results for the sub-samples closely mirror those of the full sample.Master of Business Administratio
