This report summarises the results of CFD simulations using ANSYS FLUENT in the modelling of a turbulent wall jet. Different turbulence models available in FLUENT were used. The closures based on Boussinesq hypothesis managed to capture some of the flow features but the lateral spread of the jet was much underpredicted. On the other hand, Reynolds stress modelling used with the linear pressure-strain correlation overpredicted the lateral spread. Only the stress omega Reynolds stress model was able to capture the secondary vortices but the lateral to normal spread ratio was also underpredicted.
