Photocatalysis has attracted extensive attention in environmental engineering field since it is discovered in 1977. It has a great potential in reducing the air pollution problem as well as the ability to keep the whiteness of the buildings. Therefore, the addition of a photocatalyst such as Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) to ordinary building materials such as cementitious materials is desirable.
