This report describes a study on project management for design and build residential projects. Two projects awarded under the JCT form of design and build contract and five projects awarded under the traditional form of SIA lump sum contract were used as case studies. It is claimed that fast-track construction, acceptable quality and cost competitiveness are achievable in design and build residential projects. A comparison is made between projects awarded under the two different form of contracts.Master of Science (International Construction Management
