Objects to be created are put through multiple simulation tests before they are fabricated to save on production cost. Project A147 focuses on displaying SolidWorks part model and assembly model in auto-stereoscopic 3D. In this project, the author explored different ways of displaying image from SolidWorks in auto-stereoscopic manner, viewing 3D without glasses. A lenticular lens monitor and an iphone 5S with EyeFly 3D film was used as the display medium.
