This report documents and summarizes the author’s learning and progress throughout his final year project, “Analysis of eye movements associated with different emotions” under the supervision of Professor Justin Dauwels. The author’s project involves exploring the possibility of detecting human emotion using the Eye Tracker with two approaches. The first approach is to differentiate simple human emotion via the analysis of eye movement with an Eye Tracker which will be covered in Chapter 5. The latter approach involves the collaboration of Kinect Sensor and Eye Tracker, where the author will analyses, both the facial expression and eye movements together to detect emotion such as neutral, happy and irritating.Bachelor of Engineerin
