In this report, the concept of adsorption desalination cum cooling, specifically desalination, were experimentally investigated using two adsorption beds containing silica gel, an evaporator and a condenser. The experimental testing captured under various operating conditions. Varying two key parameters, specifically the hot water inlet temperature and cycle time, the energetic performances were computed and evaluated in terms of, the Specific Daily Water Production, the Performance Ratio and the Overall Conversion Ratio.
