NAO robot remote control with gestures is a new way to control the robot. Due to the image and video processing technologies development, and the Kinect device can provide a better gesture and voices recognition than ever. Gestures control and synchronize control were come out to make an easy way to control the robot. In this report, it will indicate how to define a gesture, then how to ensure the Kinect can detect the gesture and recognized it. Voice detection will be explored and voice commands will be used to control the robot as well.
