Macromolecular self-assembly is the foundation of all natural architecture starting from acellular virus particles to complex cellular constructs. In order to mimic such assemblies, we need to understand the fundamental aspects of selfassembly and the associated parameters governing the self-assembly at the nanometer to micrometer length scales.
