Ultrafast laser has become central of attraction ever since more and more applications of these pulse trains were being disclosed. Mode-locking of laser could be done to achieve ultrafast laser. Fabrication methods of saturable absorber for the purpose of passive mode-locking are being explored from time to time, for there is no one best method is found yet for high performance, cost effective, time-efficient and at the same time high yield production of saturable absorber. Environmental impacts it brought to the society should also be taken into consideration too during the fabrication process.
