In modern medicine, more electronic devices are being placed in the human body in order to extend their lifespan. Such devices are usually implanted in the body and there are no ways to reach the device until years later, where an operation is required to retrieve the device out of the body. As such, those devices often operate on batteries. In order for the device to operate for a long term, the device’s main component and its supporting components need to operate in low-voltage conditions.
