Cyborg insects were long discussed as potential candidates for rescue and searching missions during the post-natural disaster event such as earthquake. This is due to their excellent natural self-balancing ability on the irregular geometry of the obstacles. Cyborg insects are also tiny in size so that they can pass through the debris to reach the target place. Previous researchers use the inserted electrodes to implant the cyborg cockroaches which will partially destroy their body, and this includes the sensory organs of the cockroach such as antenna.
