64 p.A novel MEMS based energy scavenger was designed and fabricated. This new energy scavenger uses an electrostatic based mechanism for energy conversion. Through the studying of different vibrating frequency of commonly occurring home appliances, frequency of 100Hz was chosen as it is the most commonly occurring frequency.
