With the increasing awareness and usefulness of surveillance systems in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) and radar systems it is seen as a necessary field of investment in most military and intelligence departments. The most widely used radar application in the industry would be the Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) system as the amount of advantages it can provide outweigh normal conventional beam scanning radars.
