China's UN peacekeeping participation : trends and factors in mission selection

47 p.China's increasing involvement in United Nations peacekeeping operations has been the focus of many scholars and commentators in recent years. What eluded scholarly focus to date, however, was an in depth analysis of the nature of China's participation. On closer examination, this study shows that China's increased participation in UN peacekeeping missions is not an increase across the board.
